ESTHER GUERRERO SIGNS FOR NEW BALANCE TEAM.

Esther Guerrero, who born in Banyoles on February 1990, signed for New Balance team last week.

She started her sportive career for 12 years ago, when she was in the juvenile category.

Esther is female middle-distance runner and it’s for that reason that, she has competed in many competitions, where she has showed her nevel.

Our athlete was coaching the athletics CN Banyoles team and we can say that is the Spanish champion and she participated in the world competition too.

For that reason, the CN Banyoles wanted to give Esther the award for “best sportswoman 2014” last September.

Esther Guerrero signed for the new team because she wanted news aims and offers. She was in the FC Barcelona for seven seasons but in October, when the New Balance offered her this project she accepted it.

Her objectives are to qualify for the European championships and to do this she has to be in the top three of the Spanish Championship and to take part in the Olympic Games in summer 2016.

She wanted to try new things and achieve new objectives, so she thought the best way was to change the team.

The reporters told “The new team has a motivating and innovating project which meets my goals”.
